We're not your typical architecture studio. Since opening our doors, we've been on a mission to prove that buildings can be both beautiful and responsible.
Look, we started this practice because we were tired of seeing the same cookie-cutter designs that ignored both people and planet. There had to be a better way, right?
Turns out there was. We pulled together a crew of designers, planners, and sustainability nerds who actually gave a damn about what we were building. Not just pretty renders - real spaces that work for real people while treading lightly on the earth.
Based in Vancouver, we've spent years learning from this city's relationship with nature. You can't design here without respecting the mountains, ocean, and forests that surround us. That perspective shapes everything we do, whether we're working on a single-family home or a major commercial development.
We've made our share of mistakes along the way - every architect has. But each project teaches us something new, and we're always pushing to do better than last time.
These aren't just buzzwords on our website - they're the principles we actually argue about in team meetings.
Every design decision gets the "is this actually sustainable?" test. Sometimes it's uncomfortable, but it's necessary.
Buildings are for people, not portfolios. We spend time understanding how spaces will actually be used.
We're constantly testing new materials, methods, and technologies. Not all experiments work out, but that's how progress happens.
We'll tell you when something won't work, even if it's not what you want to hear. Honest feedback saves everyone time and money.
From sketches on napkins to award-winning projects - here's how we got here.
Started with three architects, one drafting table, and way too much coffee. First project was a residential renovation that taught us more than any textbook ever did.
Completed our first LEED-certified building. Realized that sustainable design wasn't just possible - it was essential. Started making it our signature approach.
Moved into commercial projects and urban planning. Team grew to 15 people. Started using BIM for all projects - game changer for collaboration and precision.
Won our first design awards for sustainable residential work. More importantly, clients started referring their friends - that's the real validation.
Working on our most ambitious projects yet - mixed-use developments that prioritize community and environment. We're just getting started.
The people who make it all happen - designers, planners, and problem-solvers.
Principal Architect
15+ years designing sustainable spaces. Still gets excited about finding the perfect window placement. Probably thinking about passive solar right now.
Urban Planning Lead
Former city planner who joined us to actually make things happen. Obsessed with walkable neighborhoods and public spaces that people want to use.
Sustainability Director
The person who asks the tough questions about every material choice. Her detailed energy models have saved clients thousands in operating costs.
Senior Designer
Can sketch faster than most people can talk. Has an uncanny ability to translate client's vague ideas into actual buildable designs.
BIM Coordinator
Makes sure everyone's working with the right info. Our BIM models are so detailed contractors actually thank us. It's weird but we'll take it.
Interior Design Lead
Believes that interior spaces should feel intuitive, not intimidating. Constantly fighting for better natural light and functional layouts.
Honestly, we're not for everyone. If you want a flashy design that'll look dated in five years, there are plenty of firms for that.
But if you're looking for thoughtful design that'll age well, save you money, and maybe even make the world slightly less terrible - we should talk.
We don't do cookie-cutter solutions. Every site is different, every client has unique needs, and every project deserves fresh thinking. Yeah, it takes more time upfront, but the results speak for themselves.
Our clients tend to be people who care about quality over quick fixes, who understand that good design is an investment, not an expense. If that's you, we'd love to hear about your project.
